Hotel, Dawn Fine, misty Paris dawn. Most hotel rooms and apartment in Paris have double (french!) doors that open onto a small balcony overlooking the street or a courtyard. Early Sunday morning, I opened the door and stepped onto the balcony, and watched Paris awaken. Opposite is Gard d'Est, one of the main railways stations in Paris. It seems every public building is Paris is a majestic statement of the Royalty, the Revolution or the Empire.
